TESTIMONIALS

"The results proved that the Tailgunner technology, in which the spinning motion of the turbine tips creates a siphon which draws exhaust out and thereby increases flow, did indeed improve the Road King's power output... A couple of horses and a few more pounds of torque are always welcome, especially considering the amount of time these tips took to install. So if your looking for a weekend project that not only delivers a bit more power but also gives your ride a lot more eyeball, Tailgunner Gunship pipes are exactly the kind of project for you."
American Iron Magazine, Great Weekend Projects, September 2007

"Thanks for all the info you gave me. my pipes look and sound great. installation was not difficult and the instructions were very simplified. you guys make the most Ass-Kickin' pipes around!!! my 06' Victory Hammer has turned into a beast on wheels since i installed the Tailgunners. I'm used to getting looks and people commenting on my bike. Now that i have the tailgunners on, I'm gonna have to start having press conferences....lol. thanks for all your help, "

"The sound was good, pushing a deep, ripping sound on acceleration, and throughout the pull it remained heavy and throaty. [You] could install any of these mufflers in less than an-hour and have an exhaust that's cool looking with good sound and some power gains."
HOT BIKE MAGAZINE - Vol. 40 / #5, 2008

"I went to a police and fireman's vietnam motor cycle ride in philadelphia on June 3 & 4 , there were thousands of bikes there. everyone, I mean everyone stopped and asked about your pipes . They wanted too know where I got them. They love the way that they spun. I had a great day. the pipes were a great hit. They loved the sound and look of the Tailgunner, I told them that they came in a texas long gun too .. thanks for making a great product..."
Doug

"Good morning and happy New Year I have to say, the Tailgunner is the most value for money modification I have done for many a year on car or bike. I get an actual chuckle out of it just about every time I ride with it..."
Rene DeJong

"Much to my surprise, I received the Long Gun today. That is the way to start out a Monday! I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the baddest pipe in Japan! This thing is gorgeous! I can't wait to bolt it on and fire it up! It's beyond my expectations. Give me a couple weeks to finish my paint job and I promise to get you some pictures. The guys at work are drooling over this. I passed around your web site to them...you just might be getting some more overseas business (no promises...just a hunch). Once again, thanks for the great job and outstanding service! If I was any happier, I'd get arrested!"

"Greetings from Florida. I hope business is treating you well... I just got back from a bike show and talk about the new stealth black tailgunner turning some heads. I'll tell you a quick story. I just had a power commander installed on my 675, and they had a free mobile dyno test trailer at the show. The technicians were so impressed with my bike, that when I pulled up, they moved me to the front of the line. Now, keep in mind there was at least 20 bikes ahead of me to be run. Talk about a great feeling. However that isn't even the best part of this story. Once on the dyno, they really opened the bike up. There must have been a crowd of about 50 or more people who immediately surrounded the trailer. People were talking pictures and completely amazed at the sound and look of the exhaust. I was so proud of my bike. Just wanted to say thanks for everything. I can't wait to get the new 4" guns for my Yamaha R1. "

"Like I promised, some pics from the bike WITH the exhausts. The sound is stunning and the look is so beautiful... I already had some very good reactions from total strangers who were amazed at seeing such marvelous exhausts. Anyway, it is a pleasure to deal with you and if there're any interests, I'll give your coordinates"
Koen De Bels, Belgium

"Absolute awesome pipes, even the Cops thinks so. My Ducati gets the looks and sounds good with my D&D carbon pipes, but not like the looks and thumbs up I get with these new pipes, even in January, i can hardly wait til spring. I will send sound clips later when the weather breaks. Thanks for these awesome exhaust pipes."
Lysander

"Dear Tailgunner,
Yes, I did complete the installation the other day and I'm very happy with the results. I posted some pics at rswarrior.com and video at ... Lots of compliments and I must say that it was much easier to install than I expected. I was able to use the existing stock muffler mount and all I needed was a 1/2 spacer to bolt up to the mount and a 9" long pipe to complete the connection to the head pipe. Even added a wrinkle of my own with some inert shells for an M60. I've had over 1400 hits to my post in rswarrior.com in 48 hours! So far so good. Thanks for a wonderful product and your attention. Later,
"

"It's hard to put into words what's it's been like these last couple of weeks with my "GUNZ" but let me share some experiences,... 1.) I turn the corner and enter the Harlem block and see both sides of the streets lined with about 100 bikes and bikers. Making my way down the block of chrome and flashy paint schemes I know people are looking,... Then someone runs out of the crowd and says "that's the guy I was talking about,... Blaze the block,... Man" So,... I hit the throttle and turned the monster's low rumble into a roar. I think that day I snapped more necks than a chiropractor. 2.) If I had to make a commercial it would go like this: Bike=$10,000.00 - Exhaust=$2,000.00 - Riding through a Harley rally and getting pictures taken of your Honda by Harley owners,.... PRICELESS!!! 3.) I got to the cookout kind of early so I didn't have time to flex my monster but, there's always one person who heard about you but never had the opportunity to see them first hand,... that's when you hear "who's bike is this,... you mind starting it up" Inevitably most people's last comment are "Holy $#!&,.... they spin" As you can tell I'm having a lot of fun,...."
Mr. "GUNZ", NY, NY

"Just got my bike back today....and....WOW! Even the guys at Performance Superbike (the shop where I had it installed) were happy about how it came out! It sounds great. Nice rumble. But not too loud.... Here a a few pics... Thanks a bunch! "
Mike Noble

"When i first saw the Tailgunners on an online motorcycle store, i just knew these pipes where the difference i was looking for to trick out my bike and make it one of a kind...

I customized the stock pipes... for less than half the price of after-market pipes and headers.

Logan Valley Motorcycle store in Mesa, Az. helped me make sure it passed Arizona emissions standards.

The first time I took the Tailgunners on the street I was pulled over by a motorcycle police officer who wanted to get a closer look at my Tailgunners. The officer made several compliments about the gunners. Thats fine with me though, I knew these would grab the attention of any bike enthusiast.

WARNING: if you don't like attention or just want to lay low these are not the pipes for you. The Tailgunners have given my bike the attitude I was looking for."

Thanks Tailgunner

"Hello Tailgunner, Here is that picture i said i would send you, the bikes not quite finished yet, so excuse things like the string on the forks. The pipe looks wicked... I love it and every one thats seen it cant believe it. It's great. Thanks.

"I have been meaning to say hello. Things are great. The Rat Rod took best of show a few weeks ago here in Tahoe. Rat Rod division. We won 5 more, but they can only award one per car. The exhaust is a huge hit and is holding in there great... The Street Vibrations rally was huge, about 100,00 bikes and folks. I showed at the Harley Davidson place and handed out all the remaining stuff of yours. People just freaked out. I put you on my sponsors banner. It is a short list. I have a new forum and I put a little video on there in the "RatRunner" section. I am doing the photo session next week and will get you some posters soon after for you and your people... Many thanks, you and your tailgunners are simply the greatest and are a huge part of this unique and magnificent vehicle."
Aaron

"I know I owe you pictures - just haven't got a chance to take any of the bike with the gun installed. I'll get them to you. However, I did get the bike on the Dyno - turned 80.5 horse and 105 ft/lbs of torque. Stock numbers on the motorcycle I think are 72-78 horse and around 100 ft/lbs, so there is a definitely an increase in performance....not to shabby for a slip-on! The dyno run was at motorcycle night in Lowell (www.motorcyclenight.com) in the presence of....oh several hundred motorcycles, with about 40 to 50 people looking on. Damn, I'll tell you folks were smiles ear to ear all around (including the dyno techs!), and of course when they tached the bike up - damn it sounded sweet. Whoever wasn't looking certainly looked then! After the run I was literally stuck with the bike for like an hour just talking to folks and showing them 'the GUN'. So, all in all, things are good. Just wanted to let you know. Now what do I gotta do to get a tee shirt out of ya! I'll be happy to pick it up in person! Cheers, "

"Just wanted to drop a note letting you know how pleased I am with your product. I took my speed triple to a local bike night in my town and my new Tailgunner Exhaust was a huge hit!!! It drew a crowd around my bike for quite some time... thank you,"
Mike Santomarco

"Hello,Just purchased a pair of the Texas long guns for my 06fatboy had them put on a set of true-dual exhaust.looks and sounds great!!! Blue Collar bikes in Springvalley Il. put them on and did a super job. I will be showing them off at the Cycle World Int. bike show at the Rosemont in Chicago in 2 weeks. Need a sales rep??? haha Thanks and will send pics of my bike from the show. "
Rodney Perez

"I went out cruising for a couple of hours today. It's noticably louder than the water heater in town and the performance doesn't seem to be adversely affected… Ran across three squad cars in town, even rode alongside one of them for a few blocks wondering if they would pull me over - not! It's not noticeably louder on the freeway with the wind and other vehicles around. I'll tell you what though. I've got a LOT of folks staring as I ride by. I pulled up next to a sportbike at one point and I think the fella ended up in the hospital after seeing how fast his head whipped around. I couldn't help but laugh. Laughed even harder when a fella in a parking lot was getting into his car, stared a bit too much and smacked his face on the corner of his door as he was getting in. I guess motorcycles can be just as dangerous if you're not riding! First event of the year will be a Motorcycle Riders Group gathering on Saturday hosted by the local Yammi dealership. Forecast is for sun!"

"I want to say THANKS!!! I cannot go on a ride without someone stopping me to check out the guns. I mean it. They flag me down just to see the pipes... And let's face it, they are just cool.

I won 3rd place @ the 3rd annual MDA bike show in Chattanooga. But the big prize was out of 57 bikes I received 41 votes for PEOPLES CHOICE BEST IN SHOW. Thanks,
"

"I bought my 3 day pass for the New York International Motorcycle Show this past weekend in which I enjoyed it thoroughly. The best part could have been hanging with Matt Hotch and getting an autograph t-shirt with him or it could have been taking pictures with Ricky Gadson (Pro-Drag Racer). Or,... it could have been repping my colors, hanging with 1%'ers or getting my picture taken with biker chicks,... Nope,... It was the looks on people's faces when I came through. My bike is dubbed the "RoadKiller",... and it's nothing like roaring (and I do mean roaring) through a crowd of bikers and Harley hat wearers and hear them say "No #@&% way,... they're spinning,..." I smile and say that's why they call me "GUNZ",... I'll see you'll at Daytona (maybe) Myrtle(definitely),... Sturgis (just to damn far),..."

"First, I'd like to say you were right about how much I'd like the pipes. They are great! The sound they produce is comparable to a high end aftermarket slip on and I was very happy about that. The fact that there are 2, 6 barrel mini guns mounted in the ends of the pipes is even better. I will be sending you some pictures this weekend. I took the bike down to the Harley shop to have them run a race tune in it to get it squared away and those guys were all impressed with the pipes. Many had seen in magazines or on tv your product, but never in person. It was neat to see their reaction as they went systematically through the store and brought out people from other departments into the service bay to show them the pipes."
Chad

"I received the muffler and it's AWSOME! Better than I expected. X-Mas present to myself. The pipe I\'m putting it on is a Rinehart 2 into one... Have a nice Christmas. "
Mark, in Vermont

"The Texas Long Gun is great! I love it, as well as everyone else who sees it!!!! One of a kind, and all are amazed. The installation was easy, but I had to modify the muffler bracket. I had Vance and Hines Short Shots (?) on before, and used their bracket after modifying it (drilled 2 holes). The mufflers are AWESOME and sure to be a seller around here. I usually attend most bike rallies around here and New England and sometimes Sturgis (although not this summer)."
Mark in Vermont

"Stay tuned for the DUCATI "FLY BY." (Video) My cheapee digital camera just don't do it justice, but it still sounds like nothing else. Even the COPS think so. It got me out of a ticket because he wanted to hear it go by again at speed. Cool huh:)"
Lysander H.

"I thought I might share my story about how I got to purchasing the tailgunner for my beast. The day before Thanksgiving (last year) I was on my way into work, just before daylight. I was on a rural highway in Austin and an 8-point buck stepped in front of me (they had just started rutting here). I tried to swerve behind him, but he took a couple steps backward and wham! I smacked him at 60mph. I suffered antler wounds to my left thigh, cracked ribs from hitting the asphalt, and a split knee. The damn deer ran off, but left a large swatch of hair embedded in the crack between the front rim and tire. It was then I decided I needed something more than the stock can on the bike (it sounded like a sewing machine) to announce my presence. I subsequently saw 'drevil's' bike on the warrior forum and from there found the tailgunner site. With the tailgunner, I certainly appreciate the fact that my presence is announced well ahead. The technology behind it amazes me almost as much as the sweet note it generates. I'd be interested in knowing how you were inspired to invent such a fine exhaust. At any rate, I am proud to have your product on my bike which makes it more unique than ever. I've attached a few more pics (all with the engine at idle). Best regards,"
Rusty, Austin, Texas USA
